Path

Every unlock in ARISE, in the order that pays off fastest for your plan. Tick what you have done; the next step updates from your ticks.

Stuck on a stage or a boss? Check these first
  1. Bring the boss's weakness. Hitting a boss's weak element deals 150% damage; hitting the element it is strong against deals 50% less. Swap weapons, Skill Runes and hunters to the recommended element shown before battle (hunters with it show ↑). official
  2. Use the right team shape. In Sung Jinwoo Mode: Stacker + Breaker + Supporter. Bosses with a Break gauge need a Breaker; Overload needs a Stacker. official
  3. Respec Jinwoo's stats for the fight. Use the Boss plan on the Stats tab (more Perception for precision). A reset costs only a little Gold. guide
  4. Raise the ⭐ items before grinding. Jinwoo level, weapon level and advancement, hunter level and advancement, artifact enhancement, and Army of Shadows level give the biggest Total Power gains. official
  5. Dodge, don't tank. Extreme Evasion (a perfectly timed dodge) beats putting points into Vitality. guide
  6. Practise the pattern. Story Special Stages replay each main boss with unlimited retries, and the Training Room has a damage counter and a recommended skill order. official
  7. Short on EXP? The New Hunter Protocol (Strategy Training) gives fast EXP with fixed gear, and Gates are the best daily EXP. official
How the order is chosen

Each milestone has its requirements from the official guide (for example, Unstable Dungeon needs Chapter 5). Among the milestones you can do now, the planner picks the one with the highest score for your plan. The same scorer builds the full route in ROUTE.md and is checked on every change.

Stat points

Where to put Sung Jinwoo's stat points for the content you are about to play. Points come from levelling up and from Job Changes, and you can reset them for a little Gold, so keep one plan for farming and one for bosses.

[ System ] Stat allocation

Your stat screen (optional)
What one point adds (optional)

Add one point to a stat and read the change in the preview before you confirm. With these three numbers the planner switches from the guide rules to a damage model.

What each stat does official

StatEffectPriority
STR StrengthRaises Jinwoo's basic Attack1st, always
PER PerceptionRaises Precision and the minimum damage you deal2nd, for bosses
AGI AgilityRaises Critical Hit Damage3rd, once crit rate is high
VIT VitalityRaises HP and DefenseOnly if you keep dying
INT IntelligenceRaises MPOnly if you run dry

Effects are from the in-game Sung Jinwoo page. The priority column is the community consensus. guide

Where Total Power really comes from official

Stat points matter most early. Later, these give far more. The official growth guide marks them ⭐:

  • Sung Jinwoo level up
  • Weapon level up and advancement
  • Hunter level up and advancement
  • Artifact enhancement
  • Army of Shadows level up

Then: Blessing Stones, Skill Runes, Cores, Gems, Armory, Hunter Co-Op Training.

Draws and spending

How many draws you need for the hunter or weapon you want, from the official Draw Support rules, and where to spend for your plan.

[ System ] Draw Support

The official Draw Support rules
  • Base SSR rate: 1.2% per draw.
  • From the 60th draw since your last SSR, the SSR rate rises by 5.8% on each draw. An SSR is guaranteed by the 70th.
  • Rate Up: an SSR is the featured hunter 50% of the time. If it is not, your next SSR is the featured hunter.
  • Custom: 50% one of your 3 picks, each equally likely; after a miss, the next SSR is one of your picks.
  • Weapon Custom: the same with 2 picks.
  • The Rate Up count carries over to the next Rate Up hunter when a banner ends.
  • Collaboration banners have their own rules: an SSR is always the featured hunter, and the count resets when the banner ends.

Our reading: the 60th draw is the first with the raise (7.0%). The calculator uses the rules above and nothing else. official

Free to play

  1. Spend Essence Stones on Rate Up banners only, for a hunter your team is missing (element or class). guide
  2. Stopping mid-count is safe: Rate Up Draw Support carries to the next Rate Up hunter. official
  3. Use Custom Draw Tickets on the Custom banner with 3 picks you would really use. Weapon Custom Tickets (Guild shop) go on 2 picks for Jinwoo's main element.
  4. Go deep, not wide: take your main damage dealer to A3, then A5, before starting another. guide
  5. Finish Monarch Milestones: they give an SSR Jinwoo weapon, an SSR hunter, an SSR exclusive weapon and Custom Draw Tickets. official
  6. Free stones: Story and Hard first clears, Battle Class, Battle Tier, Codex, Hunter Archive, Successor Archive and redeem codes.

Light spender

  1. Everything in the free plan still applies.
  2. Buy only what pays out over weeks: a subscription or the Hunter Pass, and only if you will finish its tiers. Subscribing also opens Special Summons. official
  3. Compare every other pack with the calculator below. A pack is good when its draws per unit of money beat the subscription's.
  4. Skip packs of keys, stamina or cosmetics; they add no permanent power.

Spender, for fast growth

  1. Your Sung Jinwoo main weapon first: it is used in every Jinwoo-mode fight, and weapons advance up to 10 times. official
  2. Then your main damage dealer to A5, with their exclusive weapon. Power of Calamity Hard rates your teams by weapon and hunter advancement. official
  3. Then the Stacker and Supporter that team needs, to A1–A3.
  4. Buy Diamonds through the best pack, not at the plain top-up price; rank packs with the calculator below.
  5. Money buys draws, not levels. Gates, Unstable Dungeon and the Workshop still have to be played every day.

        • Match weapons, Jinwoo's Skill Runes and hunters to the recommended element. Hunters that match show ↑.
        • Fill the element gauge to 100% for Overload, or empty the Break gauge for Dazed; both open a big damage window.

        Shadows official

Grow first the Shadows that buff Jinwoo and the whole party:

        BeruBesteCerbie

Then by the element you need:

        • The leader (first slot) Shadow's power applies to the whole team; up to 3 Shadows per team.
        • Army level (Shadow Energy) raises every Shadow at once: do that before single upgrades.
        • Shadow skills level from Elite (to 5) and Elite Knight (to 10); Armament opens at General.

Skill Runes and Blessing Stones official

Runes for Jinwoo's 3 skills, one per element:

        • Light: Double Down
        • Dark: Darkness Obliteration Kick
        • Wind: Vacuum Wave
        • Water: Flowing Water Kick

        Artifacts official

        1. Set the artifact you want in Unstable Dungeon Reward Settings and farm it.
        2. Keep pieces whose main stat matches the hunter's recommended stats and with at least 2 matching sub stats (see the Hunter screen).
        3. Enhance to +20; +5, +10, +15 and +20 each add or raise a sub stat.
        4. Bad rolls? Enhancement Reset starts over (materials are not returned), or craft the piece and pick 1 main and 2 sub stats.
        5. Finish with Enchantment on the sub stats.

        Cores, Gems, Armory official

        • Cores (Mind, Body, Energy): first Jinwoo's element, then the recommended stats shown at the top of each core slot, then combat effects.
        • Gems by colour: Attack%, HP%, Crit Damage, Precision, MP Consumption Reduction, Defense%.
        • Armory: enhance all slots evenly; high levels of one slot cost too much rare material.
        • Co-Op Training: train one element's classes first.

        Shop picks official

        Honor Tokens exchange, best first:

        • Legacy Seal (draws Successors)
        • Hunter Training Handbooks
        • Skill Rune & Blessing Stone Transcendent Stone Selection Chest
        • Then: Mana Power Extract, Time Crystal, Abyssal Crystal, Shadow Waves

Shadow Enforcer rewards: Abyssal Fragment, Shadow Energy and Shadow Skill Scroll I for fast Total Power; Marks of Time I for the Armory; Artifact Enhancement Chip II, Mana Power Elixir I, Weapon Enhancement Gear II or a Melding Cube chest for hunters and weapons.

        Weapons: check the date guide

Weapon rankings change with every patch, and none of the lists we found is clearly current. A June 2026 community guide names the wind SSRs Soma & Asura and Moonlit Gale as Weapon Custom targets. Older lists rank Demonic Plum Flower Sword, Moonshadow, Shadow Scythe, The Huntsman and Thetis' Grimoire at the top.

What does not change: pick weapons for the element your content asks for, commit to one main weapon, and salvage the rest for Traces of Dimensions.
